Things I Am Grateful For

  1. I am grateful for my home. A couple weeks ago I experienced hurricane Irma. Many people lost their homes from Irma. The week Irma formed was rough. It was hard to sleep when you didn't know it your house would still be here in a few days.
  2. I am grateful for books. You get to escape the real world for a while. There are thousands of different worlds you can escape to.
  3. I am grateful for my pets. I have three cats and a dog. They make life more fun. They are always doing something funny or cute.
  4. I am grateful for my family. I think this on is obvious. My family is always there for me and I love visiting them. I'm definitely a family person.
  5. I am grateful for beauty. I love the aspect of beauty; fashion, makeup, or skin care. I would love to take a cosmetology class. Everyone has their own style. You can mix and match makeup and clothes to create different looks.

Favorite Nail Polish Colors For The Summer

When I think of summery colors I think of bright colors. I came up with a list of my top five nail polish colors I enjoy wearing during the summer.

  1. O.P.I Strawberry Margarita- This is a bright pink I always grab when I'm doing my nails; especially when I'm doing flowers.
  2. O.P.I Hot and Spicy- My favorite color is actually orange. I have two shade of orange nail polish and this one is my shade. This one is light and bright, and perfect for the summertime, unlike the other.
  3. Sally Hansen Teal Steel- This blue I use all the time for nail designs. This color is also a nice color for nail designs, especially flowers.
  4. O.P.I I Just Can't Cope-acabana- Yellow is one of the colors I find difficult to find the perfect shade in. They are either to bright or to pale. This shade is perfect because I don't have to apply more than two coats.
  5. Salon Perfect Salsa Dance- I have too many shade of red and this shade I use the most. Salsa Dance is perfect for nail designs. This color is very opaque; I only have to do one coat.

July Favorites 2017

  1. My new phone case. Every few months I get tired of the phone case that is on my phone and I decided I want a new one. I found this one on Amazon for $8.98.
  2. These shorts. I actually bought these shorts from Walmart. I really like the lace on the pockets.
  3. Shell terrarium. Earlier this year when I went to Sea World I saw terrariums in different shapes. I didn't know what shape I wanted so I didn't buy one. This month we went to Sea World again and I bought one.
  4. Hershey's cookie layer crunch. I've seen these chocolates on tv and I've been wanting to try them. My mom bought them because they were on sale.
  5. Makeup Revolution Lip Euphoria. I have been wanting lip gloss that is long lasting; this lip gloss stays on. It only wipes off when I eat. I have the color Fate.
  6. Zoya nail polish. A nail salon I went to once had Zoya nail polish. I choose the green and it was gorgeous. A couple weeks ago I saw these mini Zoya nail polishes on sale. I have the colors Mini Britta, Mini Finley, and Mini Troy. These color are perfect for the fall time.
  7. Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella. Finding Audrey is about a girl that rarely leaves her house. Then she meets her brother's friend. I felt like I could relate to Audrey. She has anxiety like me.
  8. A mug I painted for my birthday. I really love how my mug turned out.
  9. Pure Ice 'Girl On The Run' quick drying top coat. When I paint my nails I had been using a top coat that took forever to try. I would do my nails in the middle of the afternoon and my nails wouldn't be dry when I went to bed at 10. This top coat takes about 5 minutes to completely dry.
  10. African black soap. Last month I went to Tarpon Springs, Fl and one of the shops had African black soap so I bought it. It does a really good job at taking my makeup off.

Summer Reading List

This summer I will have a lot of time to read. I plan to read as much as I can this summer.

After You by JoJo Moyes- After You is the sequel to Me Before You. I read Me Before You last summer and I loved it. It's about a girl that gets a job working for a quadriplegic. After You is set over a year after Me Before You ends.

Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella- Finding Audrey is about a girl that rarely leaves her house. Then she meets her brother's friend.

Where She Went by Gaye Forman- Where She Went is the sequel to If I stay about a girl that gets in a car accident. She watches her body get taken away from the wreck. As she watches everything that goes on around her she has to make a decision if she wants to stay or leave.

All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven- All The Bright Places is about a guy, Finch, and a girl, Violet, who meet on their school's bell tower. Finch is fascinated by death and Violet is waiting to graduate so she can leave her hometown after the wake of her sister's death.

Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver- Before I Fall is about a girl that lives her last day seven times to figure out how she died.

Birthday Wish List

My birthday is in a few weeks. I love having a birthday in the middle of the year because my family doesn't have to decide if the presents are more of a birthday present or a Christmas present. I made a list of a few things I would like for my birthday.

  1. Ciate London mani markers- I saw a video on YouTube reviewing these mani markers last month and I thought they were really neat. Ciate London Mani Markers have been around for about a year. I never heard about them until I saw that video.
  2. Loose fitting plain shirts- I don't like wearing shirts with graphic designs on them. I prefer plain shirts, plaid shirts, or striped shirts.
  3. Books- I am trying to read a book every month this year. I have a list with about 20 books I want but here are a few book I would like to read; Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, and Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.
  4. Pop socket- I currently have a phone case with a diamond ring on the back(The case came with the ring on the back). I would prefer to have a phone case with a pop socket on the back.
  5. Makeup- I'm always needing makeup around my birthday. Lately I have been getting into trying new things with my makeup instead of just foundation, eye shadow, and mascara.

Spring Break 2017

Day 1; March 11, 2017: On Saturday we had a barbecue because someone left the freezer door open all day a few days before. I woke up early on Saturday so I could go to the store with my mom and help clean. We spent the early afternoon cleaning the house for our guest; my aunt and her husband, as well as a couple of my dad's friends. I decided to make a cookie brownie for dessert. While waiting for my dad's friends to get here my mom decided to make a bonfire. We are and sat around the bonfire until 10 o'clock.

Day 2; March 12, 2017: On Sunday we woke up early again because my cousins were coming over for brunch. We had eggs, waffles, croissants, and more. After they left, we relaxed around the house and caught up on the sleep we lost from the time change and waking up early.

Day 3; March 13, 2017: The next day we had another busy day. We visited my grandma. We went out for lunch at a seafood restaurant. The waitress was surprised I was able to eat two small shrimp tacos and broccoli. After we finished at the restaurant we went back to my grandma's apartment. She made a chocolate lava mug cake.

Day 4&5; March 14&15, 2017: Tuesday we had a relaxing day at the house. Wednesday we went to a baseball game. Before going to the game, we went out to eat at the restaurant First Watch. At the game they were handing out free foam baseball bats and balls to the kids. Somehow I ended up with one even though I'm 18. The weather started out cold then it warmed up. We eventually ended up in the shade so it ended up getting cold again.

Day 6; March 16, 2017: My family and I woke up at about six in the morning to drive two hours to SeaWorld. The first thing we did was get coffee. Then go pet the stingrays. I usually love going on roller coaster but that day I only went on one, Kraken. After my mom and I went on Kraken we ate lunch at Sharks Underwater Grill. For the rest of the day we ended up just looking at other animals such as, penguins, sea lions, dolphins, and more.
