1. Two throw blankets. They are the softest blankets ever.

2. A cat pillow. I wasn't expecting to get this, but it's so cute.

3. A wooden cat puzzle box.

4. A ukulele. I wasn't expecting to get a ukulele either. I'm excited to learn how to play.

5. Spray on nail polish. I've seen mixed reviews about spray on nail polish so I'm happy I receive some to test out.

A week in Houston

Saturday and Sunday before Thanksgiving my parents and I drove for about 16 hours to Huston, Texas to visit my uncle. On Saturday we drove for about 10 hours before stopping in Gulfport, Mississippi.
During the drive we went through a tunnel in Alabama and stopped at a Sandhill crane sanctuary for a few minutes in Mississippi. On Sunday we drove about 6 more hours to Houston, Texas.

On Monday, we went to a park called Discovery Green. My dad wanted to find this building he took a picture of about 30 years ago. We eventually found it. It was at a place call Sam Houston Park. It has historical buildings. Unfortunately we couldn't go inside them because they don't do tours on Mondays, but we could walk around the outside of them. The last thing we did that day was go to the Downtown Aquarium. I got to pet and feed some stingrays there.

Tuesday, we went to the Johnson space center. That was the one place I really wanted to go to. At the Johnson space center we got to ride on one of the two trams. We didn't have time for the other one. The space center has a replica Boeing 747 shuttle aircraft that we could walk through. We got to see things that were in space and replicas of thing that were in space. There was so much to do there that we didn't get to see everything because my sister was flying in for Thanksgiving.

The next day, we drove down to Galveston after having breakfast at Humble City Café. It was a really cute café.We spent to day at Pleasure Pier. I went on Rock N Roll, Sky Shooter, the Carousel, and Texas Star Flyer. Rock N Roll  was probably my favorite because it unexpectedly goes backwards. I really enjoyed to view from the Texas Star Flyer. The Iron Shark Rollercoaster is probably the only rollercoaster I will durn down without going on it first. I love rollercoasters but not ones that go straight up.

Thursday we had a relaxing day at my Uncle's house. Our last day in Houston was Friday. We went to a small town with shops outside of Houston. They had a lot of Black Friday sales. In one shop they were selling puppies. Another had free kittens. Unfortunately we couldn't get any animals because the puppies were really expensive, and we already have three cats. A lot of the shops had a lot of cute clothes and other cool things that I could have spent all my money on.

1. Jenny Fox's Miss Fabulous eye shadow palette. I ordered the palette the day it was released online. I have been watching Jenny Fox for a couple years. I discovered her through her nail art videos, when I was getting into nail art. Most of the colors are shades I like to wear, which is nice. The darker shades I am starting to wear more because it is getting closer to fall. The palette has everyday neutral colors. I like to mix Latte and Sugar Bear. The brush is soft and gentle on the eye.

Girls Weekend

Last weekend my mom, my sister, two cousins(in- law), cousin's sister and I had a girls weekend in Orlando, Florida.

Friday:
On Friday the 15th my mom, two cousins(in-laws) and I drove to Orlando where we were staying for the weekend. My sister and my cousin's (in-law) sister were meeting us there after they got off work. We got set up the hotel room, had some drinks while waiting for the others to arrive.Once they arrive after about 8 o'clock. We headed out to go eat. On they way there we passed an cop taking pictures of a car accident (only one car was involved in this one). About a mile or so down the highway we noticed a car stopped in the middle of the road and cars slowing down as they passed the car. We stopped and noticed a motorcycle on fire. There was a helmet off on the side of the road. There were about four people standing off to the side of the road, hopefully one of them was the motorcyclist. The fire started out small then got huge in just a few minutes. We finally got around it and went on our way to downtown Orlando. We found a Irish pub that we ate at. I ordered a grilled chicken cesar wrap. It was so good.

Saturday:
After breakfast, I sat out by the pool to tan. The pool was on the west side of the hotel so I didn't get much sun. The sun was also going behind clouds every couple of minutes. About an hour after being outside we went inside to get ready to go to Disney springs. My cousin and her sister went shopping and met the rest of us at Disney spring. It took us like an hour to find them because we didn't park in the same parking garage. After we found them we went out and got lunch at a Chinese restaurant. They kept filling our glasses with water even if we only drank half the cup. I ordered chicken lo mien and it was delicious. After lunch my cousin's sister went home and the rest of us looked around the shops at Disney springs. After a few hours of walk we stopped at Ghirardelli to get ice cream. We ordered a cookie bits sundae that was amazing!! I bought a coconut lip scrub and vanilla lip balm at Basin (it's similar to lush). At about 7 we went back to the hotel and went to the ruby Tuesday that was next to the hotel. After that we went to world of beer that was across the street.
The next day we went home but, before we left we stop at hash house a go go. It was on a man vs food on the travel channel. I got a delicious s'mores mocha. We share chicken and waffles and French toast because the portions are MASSIVE!

18 things I learned in 18 years

There is less than a month until my eighteenth birthday! When people ask what I want for my birthday I don't know what to say anymore. All I want is to spend it with my family.

Here's 18 things I learned about life so far:
1. It's okay if you're bad a taking tests, they don't count in the long run.
2. You should cherish every moment you have because life is short.
3. People will come and go through out your life.
4. People are so different. No one is the same. The world would be uninteresting if everyone was the same.
5. You shouldn't worry about what other people think about you because what you think about yourself is all that matters.
6. Don't take thing too seriously and have fun.
7. People will have different opinions on things and it is okay.
8. Food. Food is important. I love food
9. Exercising isn't fun at the start.
10. Always challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone.
11. Traveling different places is fun.(Although I haven't been many places yet, I still love going to new places)
12. Wear whatever you want.
13. Don't wear black when you own a cat. You will be covered in cat hair.
14. If you fail at something try again and again and again. Practice make perfect.
15. Eat whatever you want. Date whoever you want. Be whoever you want to be.
16. We have one earth, cherish it.
17. Smile more.
18. And finally, It's really hard to make lists.
